I regularly teach three courses at Penn.

1. Problem Solving, Design, and System Improvement (pdf file)
MBA Elective - 14 Sessions

2. Product Design (pdf file)
Junior/Senior elective for engineering and business students

3. Product Development (pdf file)
Executive MBA program - 9 sessions

The XPULT (pdf file) is a teaching aid (a catapult for launching table tennis balls) created by Christian Terwiesch and me to illustrate concepts of process capability, design of experiments, statistical process control, and robust design. We use it in the core MBA course on Operations Management, in the problem solving course, and in the undergraduate product design course. The catapults are available at www.xpult.com.

KJ Diagrams (pdf file). This is a very quick summary of the basics of KJ Diagrams. I use this in the problem solving course.

My textbook Product Design and Development has it's own website.

Additional teaching materials are available via Epodia.
